Getting here
From the direction of Trier
Coming from the north (Trier), take the A64 towards Luxembourg, then take the exit Grevenmacher/Wasserbillig towards Grevenmacher. Then follow the signs towards «D», cross the Moselle bridge towards Wellen (D) and turn off towards Nittel/Metz (F). After 3 km you will reach Nittel.
From the direction of Luxemburg City
Coming from Luxembourg, take the Luxembourg A1 towards Trier and exit at Grevenmacher/Potaschbierg. Follow the signs towards «D» and cross the Moselle bridge towards Wellen (D). Then turn off towards Nittel/Metz (F). After 3 km you will reach Nittel.
From the direction of Saarbrücken
Coming from Saarbrücken, take the A8/E29 towards Luxembourg, then take the exit Perl/Thionville/Nennig/Moselweinstraße/B419 towards Trier. Follow the B419 for 23 km in the direction of Trier and after about 25 minutes you will reach Nittel.
By train
If you're travelling by train, you get a direct connection to the main train station in Trier from Luxembourg, Saarbrücken, Koblenz or Cologne. Here, you have to change trains and get the Regional-Bahn (RB) in the direction of Perl or Wincheringen. This train runs every hour. The journey to Nittel takes around 26 minutes.
By air
The nearest airport is Luxembourg (approx. 20 km). There are direct flights to there from various European cities, e.g. Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Paris, Geneva, London or Lisbon.
