darfscheel − Nittel village newspaper
Four to five times a year, the Nittel village newspaper darfscheel provides information about associations, reports from the local community council and offers a multitude of information from Nittel and Machtum in Luxembourg. In doing so, it cultivates traditions and supports new endeavours.

Freiwillige Feuerwehr Nittel
Wo andere raus rennen, rennen wir rein!
Wir sind eine starke Truppe aus 36 aktiven Feuerwehrfrauen/-männern. Wir sind 24 Std. am Tag, 7 Tage die Woche und 365 Tage im Jahr für unsere Mitmenschen im Einsatz.
Ebenfalls haben wir eine Jugendfeuerwehr für Interessierte ab 10 Jahren. Für die etwas kleineren gibt es die Bambinifeuerwehr, hier können Kinder ab 6 Jahren ihren Spaß an der Feuerwehr leben.
Leider gibt es bei der Feuerwehr eine Altersgrenze für die Aktiven, diese liegt bei 63 Jahren. Für diese Kameraden gibt es die Alterswehr, die sich regelmäßig trifft.
